Abstract This Decree, consisting of 16 articles, regulates Law No. 10.295 on the National Policy on Conservation and Rational Use of Energy. The maximum levels of energy consumption or minimum energy efficiency of machines that use energy produced or marketed in the country, as well as the constructed buildings will be established based on technical indicators and specific regulations to be established under the coordination of the Ministry of Mines and Energy.
