This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree approves the Statute of the Council for Policy of Energy (CEPE), created by Law No. 6.878. The Statute, consisting of 5 Chapters, specifies composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Council, which is entitled to assist in designing policies and baselines on energy. CEPE is responsible for: performing activities as consulting and avisory board of the State Government of Alagoas on Energy sector; promoting interaction between governmental action and productive sector, entities and civil society organizations, in order to optimize the rational exploitation of local energetic resources. The Decree is divided as follows: Objectives and competencies (Chap. I); Administrative organization (Chap. II); Duties (Chap. III); Functioning (Chap. IV); Final provisions (Chap. V).
