Abstract This Decree establishes hygienic requirements for water quality from non-centralized sources of water supply. It sets hygienic requirements for water quality standards, selection of water abstraction area, equipment and maintenance of waterworks. Non-centralized sources of water supply shall be groundwater abstracted with individual or collective water intake works. Provisions of this Decree shall be mandatory for legal persons, individual entrepreneurs and citizens. Number of population authorized to use non-centralized sources of water supply shall be calculated on case-by-case basis in accordance with yield of water supply source and established water consumption rates. In order to maintain constant water quality standards shall be carried out systematic inspections of water supply source, equipment and water intake works, but also inspection of adjacent area.
