Entry into force on 19 May 2004 (Act Stb. No. 201 of 2004).
Abstract

This Decree aims at the protection of hens. It specifies the minimum volume of cages, and contains other rules relative to the housing of such animals. It shall not apply to persons holding les than 350 laying hens. The Minister shall register holders of laying hens in accordance with article 3 and shall provide holders with a product-tracing number for the tracing of eggs intended for human consumption brought upon the market.
