Entry into force notes
First entry into force on 3 January 2013. The latest consolidated version of the Decree entered into force on 18 October 2014.
Abstract

This Decree sets out provisions on the restriction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The aim is to contribute to the protection of human health and the environment. Articles 12-13 contain rules regarding the certification of compliance with EU standards and the use on products of the "CE" mark. Annex I lays down the list of restricted substances and related maximum tolerated values.
