Abstract This Decree regulates solid waste disposal requirements. It consists of 10 chapters and 1 annex establishing the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform the aforementioned activity (including solid residues originated from domestic, industrial, hospital, agricultural activity). It is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. 1); Classsification of wastes (2); Competencies of the Central Administration (3); Residues treatment (4); Licensing of treatment infrastructures (5); Sanitary requirements (6); Incentives (7); Controls (8); Enforcement and sanctions (9); Final provisions (10).
