Abstract

This Regulation concerns the Inspectorate for control of waste formation, collection, storage, transportation, disposal, processing, burial and trade. It defines status, main tasks, functions, rights and liability thereof. The main tasks of the Inspectorate shall be: (a) implementation of state control over the activities of state and economic management bodies, local self-government, specialized organizations of public services and amenities, state unitary enterprises "Toza Hudud" and "Mahsustrans" as well as legal entities and natural persons to comply with legislation in the field of waste management; (b) organization of control over waste disposal sites, timely removal of waste, prevention of formation of unauthorized dumps, management of landfills, utilization, processing, dumping and disposal of waste; (c) collection and analysis of information related to waste management; (d) state registration of waste burial and disposal sites; (e) assistance to local government and non-government entities in the implementation of public environmental control; (f) administrative proceedings against those responsible for non-compliance with the legislation on waste management.
