This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, consisting of 6 Chapters divided in 30 articles, establishes measures for the implementation at National level of the Convention on the flora and fauna endangered species international trade. It establishes the requirements to be met in order to perform the above mentioned activity and regulates the conditions under which a National authorization is issued, in particular for the species listed in Annexes I-III of the Convention. The Decree is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Requirements for international trade of flora and fauna (Chap. II); Licensing and authorization validity (Chap. III); Exemption regime (Chap. IV); Trade to non-members countries of the Convention (Chap. V); Final provisions (Chap. V).
