Abstract This Decree regards sanitary protection of water conservation zone and sources of potable water supply of the city of the city of Moscow. The provisions and requirements shall be applicable to maintenance of territory and water supply system of Moscow. The main purpose of sanitary protection of water conservation zone shall be to prevent against pollution and exhaustion sources of centralized water supply, waterworks and adjacent territory. Water conservation zone shall consist of three belts. The first belt (high security) includes water abstraction area and waterworks.
