This Decree enters into force on 11 March 1967.
Abstract

Article 1 specifies infectious and contagious diseases. Article 2 outlines the measures to be taken by the Veterinary Medical Department in order to prevent the spread of such diseases. Measures include inspecting and testing animals, closing of animal markets, banning slaughter, free administering of anti-disease sera and vaccination, observation of inoculated animals, slaughter and cremation of infected animals, disinfection of stables. Owners of animals and fowl that have been registered must notify the Veterinary Medical Service whenever new animals or fowl are put in or taken out of their stables (art. 3). Articles 4 to 6 deal with quarantine measures. (7 articles)
