Abstract

This Decree sets out certain rules concerning the authorization and placing on the market of products under article 3 (1a) of Regulation (EU) No. 528/2012, and falling under the scope of Act XXV of 2000 on chemical safety. The competent authority for approval and for national authorization of active substances and biocidal products is the National Public Health and Medical Officer Service. This Decree, besides rules on authorization, contains also rules regarding withdrawal, revision and modification of authorizations; regular inspection of activities using biocidal products and of the composition of such products; public information on biocidal products and toxin surveillance.
