Abstract

This Decree applies to meat of cattle as defined in Regulation (EC) No. 1760/2000 of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a system for the identification and registration of bovine animals and regarding the labelling of beef and beef products. It requires characteristics of the marking label to be approved by the National Food Authority and assigns supervisory and control powers for purposes of this Decree to the Authority.
