Abstract This Decree regulates the registration and the use of some biological pesticides and aims to protect the environment. The pharmaceutical companies producing biological pest control products for agriculture have to be registered at the Ministry of Agriculture. The biological products considered in this Decree are: biological products of microbial origin; pheromones imported from EU, USA, UK, Switzerland, Canada or Japan; biological products of plant origin; and beneficial organisms comprising saprophytes and invertebrate predators. The biological products of microbial or plant origin and pheromones registered in one of the listed countries are not subject to the test prior to the Lebanese registration process. Full text Arabic
