Entry into force notes

First entry into force on 15 January 2011. The consolidated version of the Decree entered into force on 2 November 2013.

Abstract

This Decree applies to those entities whose activities, facilities or products pollute or may pollute the air. This Decree is composed of four chapters. After providing general rules of air protection, Chapter II provides rules regarding standards of air quality. It contains special provision with regard to the establishment of stationary sources of air pollution, monitoring system of air pollution levels, designation of air pollution agglomerations and zones, air quality and ozone reduction plans, smog alert plan, transboundary air pollution. Chapter III contains rules concerning the operation of air polluting sources. This chapter regulates in detail the authorization of operation of stationary sources, data reporting and sanctions (clean air protection penalty).
