Abstract

This Decree establishes the modalities of allocation of hunting grounds for the creation of hunting reserves. Hunting reserves shall be considered all areas of land, forest, water and mountains populated by wild fauna and birds that can be used for hunting. Hunting managers shall be considered public, social and other enterprises, organizations, associations and institutions carrying out hunting management and use of hunting resources hunting grounds allocated thereto. Hunting grounds shall be classified in the following categories: (a) allocated to organizations with a view of creation of hunting reserves for hunting in conformity with hunting permits issued by the aforesaid organizations; (b) state reserve hunting fund in which hunting shall be carried out in accordance with hunting permits issued by state environmental protection bodies; and (c) protected hunting reserves where hunting shall be authorized exclusively scientific research, cultural and economic purposes in conformity with hunting permits issued by the State Environmental Committee. Hunting grounds shall be allocated by the State Environmental Committee for the period of 10 years in accordance with contract.
