This Decree enters into force on 13 November 2010.
Abstract

This Decree establishes the modalities of performance of hunting management and hunting in areas under radioactive pollution as a result of Chernobyl nuclear disaster. It shall be applicable either to hunting managers or to hunters. Wildlife products and game originating from areas under radioactive pollution shall be subject to mandatory control for compliance with permissible radiation level and permissible presence of radionuclides. Hunting managers must supply to hunters the following information: (a) radiation level on hunting grounds; (b) intensity of gamma radiation; (c) density of radioactive soil pollution; and (d) the modalities of reimbursement of hunting permit fee in case of excess of radionuclides in wildlife products and game.
