Natural persons and organizations dealing with industrial waste management must comply with rules relating to industrial waste management.The period of validity of the rules shall be of five years. These rules must be coordinated with the territorial branches of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and, in case of domestic waste management, with the territorial branches of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services. Furthermore, the rules must contain the full description of waste management with the consideration of environmental protection, sanitary and fire prevention provisions of the national legislation and standards. The section on “Waste disposal” must contain the following data: (1) the list of waste subject to disposal; (2) modalities of storage of waste considering environmental protection, sanitary and fire prevention provisions of the national legislation; ( 3) description of waste burial grounds; and (4) the modalities of burial of waste. The section on “Waste management and waste treatment” must contain the following information: (1) the list of waste subject to management and treatment; and (2) description of waste management and waste treatment plants.
