Abstract This Decree establishes the criteria for classification of foodstuffs for special dietary uses for preventive dietary nutrition, which can be given to workers employed in work with harmful and (or) dangerous working conditions, instead of providing free milk (per daily portion of a ready-to-eat product), as follows: (a) balance of nutritional and energy value (calorie content) for the main nutrients; (b) vitamins and minerals content; (c) availability of vegetable raw materials (herbal teas, herbal drinks); (d) absence of medicinal plant raw materials (extracts); (e) absence of trans-fatty acids, salt, sweeteners, food colorants, preservatives; and (f) content of added sugars shall not exceed 10 precent of the energy value.
