Decree No. 2725-III GD of State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation regarding the appeal to the Premier of the Russian Federation for the purpose of application of restrictions for export from the Russian Federation of raw leather.

State Duma notes that increase of production output of the national shoe-making industry is restrained because of shortages of supply of raw leather for 80% of the best quality raw leather is destined for export. Hence State Duma, for the purpose of ensuring national security and protection of internal market of Russia, forwards appeal to the Premier in order to maintain the existing export tax for raw leather till 2005 at the actual rate of 500 euro per ton and to increase it in case of deterio
