Abstract This Decree approves the Regulation of the State Protected Areas within the State of São Paulo. The said Regulation consists of 57 articles establishing the requirements to be satisfied by all protected areas in the abovementioned State. Forest sustainable exploitation shall be authorized according to the Management Plan, drawn up by the Forestry Institution (IF) and the State Council for the Environment (CONSEMA).
