Abstract

Veterinary and Sanitary Regulation on prevention, diagnosis and liquidation of respiratory mycoplasmosis of poultry sets forth mandatory requirements for legal and natural persons, including individual entrepreneurs, related to safety of work and services concerning keeping, breeding, transport, transfer, trade and slaughtering of poultry subject to prophylaxis, diagnosis and liquidation of mycoplasmosis of poultry. In order to prevent mycoplasmosis of poultry legal and physical persons, including individual entrepreneurs, must: (a) ensure the performance of veterinary activities in the sphere of keeping, breeding and growing of poultry; (b) ensure optimal zoo-hygienic conditions for poultry keeping, a complete feeding, balanced by protein, vitamins, minerals and microelements; (c) form poultry farms only by poultry originating from poultry breeding organizations free of respiratory mycoplasmosis of poultry; (d) on request of veterinary medicine specialists of State Veterinary Service supply all the necessary information and data related to purchased poultry and create the conditions for conducting its clinical examination and diagnostic research; (e) ensure that laboratory tests for respiratory mycoplasmosis; (f) to regroup the poultry within poultry farm by agreement with veterinary experts of this organization; (g) provide disinfection, deratization and disinsection of premises for poultry keeping; (h) to ensure the disinfection of incubation eggs with formaldehyde vapors twice (not later than 1.5 hours after the laying and before putting to the incubators). Disinfection of hatching eggs may be carried out with other disinfectants, according to the instructions for their application; eggs for incubation are used from a healthy bird.
