This Decree enters into force on the date of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, consisting of 13 articles, establishes the State Secretariat for the Environment and Water Resources (SEMA) as part of the State Water Resources Management System (SEGRH/PR) the executive managing body and central coordinator of the System. The Secretary of State for the Environment and Water Resources (SEMA), pursuant to item II of art. 33 of State Law No. 12.726 of 26 November 1999. In accordance with art. 33 of State Law No. 12.726/99, are delegated to the Superintendency of Water Resources Development and Environmental Sanitation (SUDERHSA), the competencies related to the formulation and execution of the State Policy of Water Resources, established by art. 39 of State Law No. 2,726 / 99 and mentioned in article 1 of this Decree, in particular regarding activities related to the State System for Water Resources Management (SEGRH/PR).
