Abstract

This Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers establishes the procedure for management of subsoil plots for the extraction of precious metals, in particular exploration of gold deposits, by natural and legal persons. License for exploration and mining of precious metals shall be issued to applicants for fee and shall include allotment of plots of subsoil containing gold deposits with area not exceeding 1 hectare. Transfer of license or subsoil management by several persons shall be prohibited. License holder must comply with licensing terms and conditions. The period of validity of license, issued in accordance with the outcome of auction on e-commerce platform "E-Performance", shall be 3 years. State Geological Committee shall be issuing authority of exploration and mining licenses. Mining shall be authorized without the use of explosives to the total maximum depth up to 6 meters. Upon completion of exploration and mining works, license holders shall perform land reclamation, with a view of restoration of fertile soil layer, at their own expense.
