Abstract This Decree This Decree regulates certain aspects of the manufacture of and trade in coffee and chicory extracts (as defines in article 2). It implements Council Directive 1999/4. It prohibits the manufacture of and trade in coffee- and chicory extracts that do not meet the requirements laid down in the present Decree regarding their composition and labelling. It is also prohibited to place on the market other products under the names provided by this Decree. Articles 3 and 4 specify rules relative to the composition of coffee- and chicory extracts.
