Abstract This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture lays down requirements for the disposal of carcasses of equidae and animals in hobby farming. It specifies the conditions for the harmless disposal of carcasses and detailed veterinary and hygienic requirements for the places designated for storing animal carcasses in hobby farming. Specifically, it outlines the conditions for the harmless disposal of equidae carcasses by burial on the owner's own land with the consent of the regional veterinary administration. It also provides detailed veterinary and hygienic requirements for places designated for storing animal carcasses in hobby farming outside the owner's own land. Additionally, it establishes the procedure for obtaining permission from the regional veterinary administration to establish an animal cemetery.
