Decree No. 21 of the Cabinet of Ministers “On arrangements for improvement of the functioning of drainage and irrigation system of the city of Tashkent”.

This Decree validates the Strategy for improvement of the functioning of drainage and irrigation system of the city of Tashkent with a view of ensuring sustainable surface and groundwater flows, effluent waste water and sewerage system in case of outbreak of natural disasters. Basic tasks of the Strategy shall be as follows: (a) application of modern advanced regulatory means; (b) cleaning and maintenance of drainage and irrigation system; (c) improvement of technical state of rainwater collection and discharge; and (d) prevention of rainwater discharge to the city sewerage system.
