Export of fresh fruits and vegetables shall be performed exclusively by export company “Uzagroexport” in accordance with direct export contracts concluded with foreign partners, and shall be based upon direct contracts concluded by “Uzagroexport” with farmers, family farms, agricultural and processing enterprises. Export of processed food and vegetables shall be authorized on condition of 100 percent of upfront payment, while export of fresh fruits and vegetables shall be authorized on condition of 30 percent of upfront payment and opening of confirmed bank letter of credit or letter of guarantee issued by first-rate foreign bank.
