This Treaty consists of 35 articles and the text of the Treaty in its original Turkish translation. The Treaty aims at (i) recognizing the enormous contribution of farmers to the diversity of crops, (ii) establishing a global system to provide farmers, plant breeders and scientists with access to plant genetic materials, and (iii) ensuring benefit-sharing.
