Abstract

This Ministerial Decree establishes that wild growing harmful plant species that are dangerous for biodiversity, human life and health (Annex 1) and alien wild growing plants prohibited for introduction and acclimatization on the national territory shall be subject to regulation of number on all categories of land, including forest land, and waterbodies. Regulatory arrangements shall include: (a) research with a view of evaluation and assessment of land area of growing of harmful plant species and risk assessment; (b) destruction of the aforesaid plants by land tenants on a regular basis; (c) public information campaigns explaining the necessity of timely destruction of harmful plants; and (d) other arrangements for the reduction of the number of harmful plants.
