Abstract This Decree approves the Regulation on Research and Exploitation of Groundwater (RPEAS). The RPEAS Regulation, consisting of 8 Chapters and 1 Table, establishes licensing norms and procedures to be satisfied in order to carry out research, exploitation of groundwater and criteria to be met for drilling water boreholes, wells and other works for groundwater captation.
