Abstract This Decree, based on the provisions of the Bulgarian Law on food, adopts the Ordinance on the requirements for certain sugars intended for human consumption (full text attached in the Annex of this text). The Ordinance defines necessary requirements as regards the names, characteristics, composition and quality, labelling and methods of analysis of certain sugars intended for human consumption. This text sets the introduction of the requirements contained in the Council Directive 2001/111/EC relating to certain sugars intended for human consumption.
