Abstract

This Decree establishes hygienic requirements aimed at ensuring maximum safety of pesticides and agrochemicals for human beings and environment at all stages of management thereof. This sanitary regulation establishes sanitary and epidemiological requirements for testing, storage, transportation, trade, application, disinfection and recycling of pesticides and agrochemicals that shall be compulsory for all natural and legal persons applying pesticides and agrochemicals. It establishes that only tested and registered pesticides and agrochemicals shall be authorized for use on the territory of the Russian Federation. All the pesticides and agrochemicals shall be authorized for use after passing compulsory compliance and classification procedure specifying class risks by toxicity.
