This Decree enters into force on the date of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, composed of 6 articles, rules on aquaculture in federal public waters. In particular, it compels the Brazilian Institute for Environment and Natural Resources (IBAMA) to regulate the admitted species, the techniques and equipment to be used, as well as to set up a farmers’ registry.
