Abstract The decree is divided in the following Chapters: I, General Provisions; II, Hygiene and safety in Food Production and Trading; III, State Management Responsibilities for Food Hygiene and Safety and responsibilities in the prevention and overcoming of food poisoning and food-borne diseases; IV, Examination and Inspection of Food Hygiene and Safety; V, Implementation Provisions. The provisions deal mostrly with the unalienating right of the customer to the choice, consumption and trading of healthy and safe food, whose hygiene and safety requirements are fullfilled and to be provided with information about food hygiene procedures in food processing, handling, packaging and selling. Poisoning and toxicity must be avoided at any cost as any contamination due to mis-handling or mis-processing by the personnel involved in food production. Full text English
