Abstract

This Decree establishes sanitary rules and regulations for elaboration, manufacturing, testing and trade of systems and equipment for individual and collective technological equipment for purification, post-purification and conditioning of potable water from surface water and groundwater with production capacity output up to 150 m3/h. It shall be destined to state executive bodies and local self-government, enterprises, organizations, institutions, legal persons and individual entrepreneurs that manufacture, test and trade water purification equipment, and also for organizations carrying out state and departmental sanitary and epidemiological supervision. The provisions of this Decree shall apply to elaboration of technical terms and conditions, standards and methodical instructions related to water purification systems and equipment. Water subject to treatment shall be used for the following purposes: (a) potable water for the population and for domestic consumption ;(b) for processing of foodstuffs and alimentary raw materials; and (c) for production purposes when the use of high quality water is required.
