Abstract

The present Regulation establishes maximum residue limits for radioactive nuclides (caesium-137 and strontium-90) in foodstuffs and potable water (RDU-99). The purpose of the present Regulation shall be to reduce the doses of inner exposure to radiation of the population that shall be achieved through the restriction of entry of radioactive nuclides with the foodstuffs.
