The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of Vydritsa biosphere reserve: 1) land reclamation; 2) extraction of peat and sapropel; 3) clear final cutting with cutting area more than one hundred metres wide; 4) damage and annihilation of shrubbery and forest plantations and disturbance of soil; 5) water abstraction for irrigation, discharge of sewage and waste disposal in water bodies; 6) clearing of riverside natural growth except for recreational areas; 7) setting up tourist camps; 8) the use of motor boats except for life-saving and nature-conservative inspection; 9) grazing during the mating period of bids and game (till 30 June); 10) grazing in the riverside areas of the rivers Berezina, Vydritsa and Ola. The proclamation of Vydritsa biosphere reserve shall not entail the expropriation of land. The regional executive bodies shall be the managing authority of Vydritsa biosphere reserve. Land tenants must observe the regime of protected area and use ecofriendly processes. The damages caused to Vydritsa biosphere reserve shall be compensated by the legal and natural persons in conformity with the modalities established by law. Full text Russian Website www.kaznachey.com
