In accordance with section 1 export of all fish species needs approval of the Committee established under this Decree. Section 1 outlines requirements for the approval which includes registration with the Committee. Section 2, added to the text by Decree No. 648 of 1997, empowers the Committee to withdraw approval in the case of offence against provisions of this Decree or non-observation of conditions attached to the approval. Section 3 lists various kinds of fish from various countries the placing on the market is forbidden by others than companies who have the exclusive right to do so. The Export Committee for Fish, established under section 5, shall be principally an advisory body to the Department of Fisheries and be responsible for registration under section 1.
