Abstract This Decree, consisting of 13 articles divided into four Chapters, regulates the State Council for Water Resources of Pará (CERH/PA). CERH/PA is a consultative, deliberative and normative body, created by State Law No. 6.381 of 25 July 2001, linked to the State Organizing Authority for Water Resources of Pará. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Council, which under the Governing Body of the State Policy for Water Resources of Pará, shall provide the services of the Executive Secretariat of the CERH/PA, and provide technical, administrative and financial support indispensable for its operation.
