Entry into force notes
This Decree enters into force 3 months after its publication. The annexed Regulation enters into force 90 days after its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, composed of 3 articles and one Annex, approves the Regulation on Pesticides. The Regulation is composed of 37 articles divided in 10 Chapters. It applies to registration, packaging, labelling, import, transport, storage, distribution, production and application of pesticides, used for agricultural, farming, and public health purposes. In particular, the Regulation sets the MRL of pesticides in food products in accordance to FAO Codex Alimentarius and regulates the control and inspection measures.
