Abstract

This Decree is composed of four articles and one Annex. It approves the Regional Western Forestry Plan (PROF AML). The annexed PROF AML Regulation is composed of 53 articles and several annexes structured in four main Titles. In particular, it defines the legal nature of PROF and rules on forest use and management plan. Special attention is devoted to the zoning and classification of homogeneous sub-regional forest areas, each related to a specific agro-forestry development model including tailored intervention and monitoring measures. Finally, it rules on forest fires prevention measures. The Annexes provide a map of PROF AML, and the required agro-forestry models.
