This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree regulates the obligation of prior inspection of products of animal origin, produced in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. Inspection of sanitary and industrial animal products and their derivatives, whether or not edible, produced in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul, shall be carried out by the State Agency for Animal and Plant Health Protection (IAGRO), entity (SEMAGRO), based on the principles of animal health protection, public health and environmental preservation. In the exercise of the above mentioned activities, IAGRO shall observe the division of jurisdiction between the entities of the Federation and the other directives contained in Federal Law No. 2.883 of 18 December 1950, as well as the provisions of State Law No. 4.820 of 10 March 2016.
