Abstract This Decree, consisting of 6 articles, establishes the Support Programme for Indigenous Communities of Mato Grosso do Sul (PROACIN). This Programme PROACIN was established to support family farmers in indigenous communities to strengthen sustainable production, in order to guarantee income generation, social welfare, and the quality of life for this population. The beneficiaries of PROACIN will be family farmers, women and young people from the indigenous villages of Mato Grosso do Sul. The financial resources for implementing PROACIN will come from: I - of the State budget appropriations; II - the Social Investment Fund (FIS); III - other sources of resources of the State, the Union and the Municipalities; IV - resources coming from contracts or agreements signed with organs, entities, foundations and public or private institutions.
