Abstract

This Decree authorizes the issuance of hunting permits to organizations for the following purposes: (a) scientific research; (b) using embalmed wild animals as educational aids; and (c) economic activity. Hunting or capture of wild animals or birds outside of the hunting season or of hunting areas shall require a permit issued by the Chief Directorate of Hunting and Protected Areas. Hunting permits shall be issued free of charge for all species except hoofed animals, for which hunting permit fees shall apply. Individuals that have violated hunting regulations shall not be eligible hunting permits.
