Entry into force notes
This Decree enters into force 15 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Decree sets forth sanitary and epidemiological requirements for organization of sanitary protection areas of sources and centralized systems of potable water supply. It shall not be applicable to non-centralized potable water supply systems. The scope of this Decree shall be ensuring safety of sources and centralized system of potable water supply and protection of public health. Infringement of this Decree shall entail administrative and legal liability. Project of organization of sanitary protection areas of sources and centralized systems of potable water supply must contain the following documentation: (a) plan and mapping of sanitary protection zones; (b) explanatory note with substantiation of proposed decision; and (c) draft decision of local government.
