Abstract This Decree approves the Regulation of Industrial and Sanitary Inspection and Control of Animal Products in Pará State. This Regulation, consisting of 18 Chapters, establishes the rules governing industrial and sanitary inspection and control of animal products and by-products within the State. It specifies that are subject to inspection animals destined to butcher, such as: bovine, equines, the mules, pigs, goats and sheep, poultry and rabbits, wild and exotic animals for authorized slaughter houses by the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources - IBAMA, fish, milk, eggs, bee products, their products and derivatives, and various species of animals intended for human consumption.
