Abstract The competent authority for the purposes of this Decree is the food-chain security and animal health directorate of capital and county governmental offices. Article 2 contains, in particular, specific provisions on ritual slaughter of animals and its authorization and control. Depopulation operations must be reported to the Chief Veterinary Officer and then to European Commission. Training of animal welfare officers is also regulated by this Decree.
