Abstract

The President decrees to authorize the following types of hunting: (a) commercial hunting; (b) artisanal and sport hunting; (c) hunting for scientific research and educational purposes; (d) hunting for the regulation of the number of game; (e) hunting for acclimatization, repopulation and hybridization of game; and (f) hunting for the purpose of captive or semi-captive breeding or keeping wild fauna species in artificial environment. The Decree establishes hunting periods for hunting for wild boar, brown bear (except for female brown bear with cubs), hare, fox, wolf, jackal, muskrat, raccoon dog, squirrel, lynx, marten (wood, stone) and wild cats. Hunting on the regional territory shall be performed in compliance with Hunting Regulations validated by Order No. 512 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology.
