Abstract This Decree, consisting of 11 articles, regulates Law No. 3.823 on Animal Sanitary Protection. It establishes controls to be carried out on veterinary products, animal inputs, their trade, transport and veterinary infrastructures requirements within the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. Trade and use of these veterinary and animal input products only will be permitted if licensed and registered by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA). It also prohibits trade and use of veterinary products which can produce risks for human health and environment disease through their introduction and dissemination into the State.
