Abstract This Decree establishes criteria for fishing with trawl for shrimps in 2006 in the North Sea and the Skagerrak (art. 1). The criteria are: the vessel shall be registered and the owner and the master of the vessel shall be included in the Fishermen's census; the vessel shall be equipped for shrimp trawling; and vessels of over 11 metres of total length shall have had access to fishing south of 62°N in 2005. Article 2 provides for the approval of a change in vessel by the regional office of the Fisheries Directorate. Other provisions deal with the sale of a vessel, and the decease of the owner of the vessel and prescribe penalties for non compliance with rules of this Decree.
